DESIGN

Itel iNote 1503 has a sleek design with 8.45mm thick and has a flash of metal at both sides of the phone. The body is a combination of mainly plastic and a metal. The rear cover is made up of plastics with rough texture design which is quite similar to it1502.

The phone comes with the normal SIM slots and can be found when you remove the rear cover of the phone.

The MicroUSB port and 3.5mm headset jack are found at the top edge of the phone, and the power button and volume buttons are in the same position at the left side of the phone making it a little difficult to screenshot. Then at the bottom edge is occupied by a microphone port.

DISPLAY

The itel it1503 bring you an awesome experience with a 5-inch screen display with IPS technology and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels – not quite disappointing for a mid-range smartphone like this one.

CAMERA

Since the itel it1503 is the successor of the itel it1502, we were expecting the camera features to be more impressive but we later discovered it has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera is position at the middle top of the phone with dual flashlight directly below it. Furthermore, the rear camera has the usual features such as panoramic, HDR, auto-focus, watermark, beauty mode, clip arts, etc.

MULTIMEDIA

Similar Music Player with its predecessor, I would say am not surprised to see the normal default player – no special feature(s). The sound produced by phone speaker which is position at the back sounds better and louder than Innjoo fire, and when using a pair of 3.5mm earpiece/headphone you will get the best sound quality.

Moving to the Gallery, the trash feature which was present in the it1502 has been removed leaving the gallery similar to the default layout we are familiar with.

Launching to the Radio, it automatically searched for channels and gave an option to either Cancel or Save the channels found. Other features included are FM recording, manual, and automatic channel search, and storing favorite channels.

PROCESSOR AND MEMORY

The Itel it1503 is powered by Quad-core ARMv7 processor running at 1GHz with 512MB RAM which is not impressive. It has 8GB internal memory and expandable to 32GB via MicroSD which is okay by me because having a RAM of 512MB you are not expected to stock your device with apps in other to prevent your phone from hanging or slow in processing information.

INTERNET AND CONNECTIVITY

It supports only 2G GSM and 3G WCDMA. Unfortunately, only SIM 1 has both 2G and 3G support while SIM 2 support only 2G.

Apart from that, it shares the same connectivity that most mid-range phones such as A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, MicroUSB 2.0, and so on.

BATTERY AND OTHERS

It has a removable battery of 2100mAh. No built-in power saving application, its best you install battery saver app so you can get a long lasting battery life. After 8 hours of heavy usage, the temperature is not so obvious. Other features on the itel inote it1503 are inote flashlight, touchpal keypad, cool file manager, simple phone dialer, etc.

CONCLUSION

After checking out what itel it1503 has to offer and considering the price of the device, I believe the itel it1503 specs and the package are worth the price. Also, Itel should have given these specs (it1503 specs) to It1502 and the specs of it1502 to it1503 because it1503 is the successor of it1502 so it should be better than the former not the other way round.
