Huawei Honor 5c passes TENAA certification, expected 28 April (see full specs)

Huawei soon to be released device, Huawei Honor 5c, has hosted passed through China’s communications regulatory organization, TENAA. As usual, TENAA has graced us with sneak pic’s of the son to be announced device and we have some specs as well.

First of all, for those who don’t know, Huawei Honor 5c is a sequel to last year Honor 4c, which has done very well so far. The Honor 5c is expectedly an improvement to last years Honor 4c and the device does not fail to do so.

That said, let us go through the specifications of the device we have so far. The Huawei Honor 5c will obviously be metal clad; the picture says so. The device will carry a 5.2 inch screen that has a 1920×1080 resolution. Under the hood, the 5C sports a Kirin 650 64-bit octa-core processor with all eight cores clocked up to 2.0GHz. Clubbed with the processor is 2GB of RAM and a 16GB native storage. For what it is worth, higher specced version of the 5c is said to be arriving alongside, this one will however sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage; both versions can be expanded via SD card up to 128GB.

For paparazzi and other related matters, the Honor 5c sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front facing camera. Powering the Honor 5c is a non-removable 2,900mAh battery. The device will run Android 6.0, which will have Huawei Emotion UI layered on top.

The Honor 5c also comes with a fingerprint scanner that’s just below the rear camera. Finally, the Honor 5C weighs in at 156 grams with dimensions of 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.3mm.

Other specs not announced by TENAA which certainly will be present, include; a speaker, audio jack, SIM slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, Hotspot, assumedly will support LTE. Let’s leave the guessing till we get a confirmed spec sheet from Huawei. The 5c is expected any time from now, since it has been certified by TENAA and if last years launch of it’s predecessor in April, is anything to go buy, then we will be seeing the Honor 5c this April, 28 April according to speculations.
