Motorola Moto X Play which seem to be the balancing act between the Moto G and Moto X Style was launched in July 2015. It has a 5.5inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and an approximated 403 ppi density and a Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Inside the chassis, it packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset which clock a quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and a 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It has 16/32GB of built-in memory depending on the variant which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128GB.
It runs on a stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with no bloatware. It is one of the numerous devices which planned upgrade to v6.0 Marshmallow.
It sports a 21 MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detect autofocus, dual-tone LED flesh on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture
