Xiaomi unveiled its new Redmi Note Prime weeks ago in India and it’s sold exclusively through Amazon and Mi.com. The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is considered a budget smartphone packed with good specifications for its price.
The device features a 5.5- inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It as well includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. 
“The power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with the battery saving features of MIUI, has enabled us to achieve our most impressive battery performance yet,” Xiaomi notes, adding that the Redmi Note Prime should last for 14 hours of internet browsing, 38 hours of talk time, 60 hours of music playback and 775 hours on standby.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. The Redmi Note Prime runs on Android 4.4 KitKat- based MIUI 7. On the connectivity front, the device sports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, microUSB 2.0, USB-OTG and GPS/ A-GPS. A 3100mAh battery completes the package.
When available in Nigeria, Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N30,000 to N50,000.
