This is my Airtel Android plan experience.
As a premium user of Airtel, I qualified to have the Airtel Android plan that is 4gb for N1,500.00 plan and I have been subscribing for like 3 months now.
As a heavy data user, I have been combining my Swift 3G Wifi with my mobile data since I switched to Android devices last year and I have had no cause to really feel the pains of a lot of people. I only buy mobile data whenever I feel the need to and not so compelled.
I learnt of the Airtel Android plan offer in May/June and decided to try it out. Even with the fact that i do a lot with my connections, I was able to use the 4gb for 3 weeks and this made plenty sense for me. I pay N10k every month for my Swift and I get 10gb. With the Airtel plan, I can get 12gb for just N4,500!
I use the Android plan data to develop websites online, uploads and downloads, watch movies and even stream live pre-season matches. I have watched two of Manchester United games, Inter Milan and Liverpool, using this subscription and there was never a break in the stream for the whole 90 minutes of football.
For about two months now I have not used/subscribed to my Swift and the Airtel Android plan is serving me so well. Maybe I may have to sell the Swift modem at the end of the day, if this continues to work. 😉
