Motorola Droid 5 Really Set For Release ? Disappointed!

Motorola Droid 5 Really Set For Release

For sometime now, word has been online alleging that Motorola has undefined intentions of releasing a tablet, the Motorola Droid 5. Motorola made it crystal clear that Verizon intends carrying on with the Droid series and to prove that, the next device on the line will be The Motorola Droid 5.

Well, some specifications of the Motorola Droid 5 have leaked and they are all just speculations. You can check them out below

  • 4.3-inch 720p display (342 ppi)
  • Snapdragon MSM8960 dual-core Krait chipset with Adreno 225 GPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • microSD
  • NFC
  • Wireless charging
  • 5-row QWERTY keyboard

Why I feel disappointed with some of the specifications of the Droid 5 is because of the 1GB RAM. Who still makes devices with 1GB RAM? For a tablet? Lets wait for some official words from either Verizon or Motorola.

If it is launched by Verizon, it will be one of their top of the line smartphones, so at least a 2GB RAM or a quad-core processor is a must.

Let’s look at the bright side. The Droid 5 will feature wireless charging as well as NFC technology which I see as a plus.

But if the specifications are true, can it stand the likes of HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy s4?
