Samsung launches 7 days of unboxing the Galaxy S7

Samsung is famed for its hair raising phone adverts, which can leave any smartphone consumer wanting their latest device even if you just bought a device the day before. In typical fashion, Samsung is making sure we all stay excited in anticipation of this year’s flagship the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The South Korean company has launched a seven day campaign tagged ‘”seven days of unboxing”, which will feature a daily release of a video teaser on the upcoming Galaxy phones. The seven day unboxing began yesterday, with a video titled “The child”. The video shows a child named “Tyson” walking into a seemingly empty warehouse lighted by fluorescent lights. Tyson walks into a blue cube with a timer set at 30 seconds, the time starts and he unboxes one of the Galaxy S7 devices. Afterwards, Tyson exits the cube and begins to represent what he saw through drawing using makers.

Today’s video is called “The Llama”, in this video a llama named Kuzco plays the role of Tyson on the first video. The llama used some choice paints to make an abstract drawing of the Galaxy S7.

These videos do not reveal any substantial details of the Galaxy devices. It is obvious they are released to pique ones curiosity. Hopefully, the videos that will be released in the coming days will give more hint on the Galaxy devices other than portraying ingenuity in advert. The Samsung website has a countdown timer for the videos, this will help with keeping tabs on when another video will be released as well as a countdown to the unboxing event in Barcelona, February 21 to be exact (a day before the Mobile World Congress commences). Visit AndroidNigeria daily for subsequent videos on the Galaxy S7.
