Gionee S6 Pro to be announced on 13 June (See phone specs)

Chinese phone manufacturers, Gionee is set to anounce a successor to the Gionee S6 released late last year, November to be precise. The successor of the Gionee S6 is dubbed Gionee S6 Pro, the device comes with significant upgrades to the S6 specs.

The details of the specifications of the Gionee S6 Pro comes from TENAA, China’s telecommunication regulatory body, they certify phones to be introduced into the Chinese phone market by smartphone makers.

That said, the Gionee S6 Pro specs released by TENAA shows that the S6 Pro will be sporting a metal unibody that carries a 5.5-inch full HD screen with 1080p resolution. Still on the devices front, a finger print scanner will be positioned at the capacitive home key button. Inside the devices shell, a SnapDragon 652 SoC is expected to be running the phones processes – this particular fact is wholly speculation as TENAA did not publish the details of the devices processor. Other confirmed specs of the Gionee S6 Pro are a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8MP front camera for selfies etc. Powering the device is a 3,130 mAh battery and the device will run Android Marshmallow layered with Gionee’s Amigo OS, out of the box. A 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage with option for expansion will serve for running apps and storage.

Gionee S6 Pro will come with a USB-type C port, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The device measures 153×75.3×7.6; and weighs 150 grams. The price tag of the Gionee S6 Pro is yet to be disclosed, likewise, when the device will be available in these parts is Still unknown, but rested assured we will give you an update on this as soon as the information comes in.
