How To Root And Unroot Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300
Samsung GALAXY Pocket S5300 is compact and light with superior functionality and outstanding performance. It was announced february 2012 but was released April 2012. Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 has 2G and 3G network and it has 3GB internal memory. It has bluetooth, wireless Lan, 2MP camera,etc. It runs on Android 2.3.6(Gingerbread) OS and supports java via Java MIDP emulator.
HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY POCKET S5300
Requirement: Download the update.zip file and the unroot file. Get the Download link is below.
ROOT METHOD
1. Copy update.zip to SD card and place it in /root
2. Turn off the device
3. Press and hold Home + Power + Volume[+] buttons until it`boot in recovery mode
4. Choose apply update from SDcard
5. Select update.zip
6. Select reboot now
7. Reboot in normal mode
8. Check in Application, if Galaxy Pocket is rooted then it should be Superuser icon in there.
UNROOT METHOD
All step to unroot is almost same with root procedure, just download unroot.zip then rename it become update.zip. If update.zip from root process still in SDcard, just overwrite it and follow the root method again.
