This device is for those that want to have a taste of Android but don’t want to spend so much. Infinix is a native French company.
However, the competition for the most affordable and feature rich set of smart phones continues in Africa (Precisely Nigeria) with Infinix and Tecno leading.
Infinix X450 is yet another Android smartphone for low income earners just like the Tecno N7 smartphone from Tecno Mobile industry.
But like everything in life, This infinix race bolt phone takes up to 5hrs to attain a full charge and within 2hrs of moderate use on 2g network,the battery runs flat. If playing video alone on it, the phone would be so hot that one would ask if it is a phone you bought or an electric iron.
Also, the RAM of 512MB is quite small compared to other high end devices hitting 1.0GB. Resolution is also small. A little increase won’t have hurt anybody. By the way, It should have come with at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean instead of the 4.0.4 ICS. Last but not least, possibility of operating system upgrades are low.
With the specifications and features that it comes with coupled with the price, I believe it shouldn’t infuriate some die hard specs fan.
It comes pre-installed with: Angry Birds, Asphalt 6, Twitter, Facebook, Opera Mini, Google apps, Quick Office, Shark Dash, UCBrowser, Whatsapp, Video Player, Flashlight and FM radio apps.

u didn’t give a correct detail of d specs… most of wah u used re wrong. I knw cos I use d fone. for example its ram is 1.0gb, sec camera 3.0mp and its casing is not plastic! +oda tins!!!
How good is the phone?
It depends on the individual. Infinix X450 is good but the only issue is the fact that it’s 512 MB RAM and 4GB ROM. If you are the gaming type this can be a problem.
The phone is a great one compared to its price. Been using it for over a year now, However, few weeks ago I started experiencing difficulties updating some apps like whatsapp, tried all means both phone data and wireless but still couldn’t be updated. The update stops at 28% to 50%.
Pls I need help on this.
What error message do you get when you try to update it?
The RAM size is too poor. Please improve it.
