If you find yourself in a situation where your phone is locked down or refuses to boot , all you need to do is hardreset your device. In this short post I will write on how to Hardreset Tecno Phones
Note : Hard Reset Automatically deletes all your files. So ensure you have a backup in place.
==>Firstly , POWER OFF Your Phone
==> Next , Press and hold
Volume Up, Home and Power button
==>When Tecno Symbol/name
appears, release the Power
button
==>A Boot Menu will then show, Use the
volume up/down to choose and home to
select
==>Select the option “Wipe
Data/ Factory Reset”
==>Wait for your phone to reboot.
This method works on all Tecno Devices.
How To Factory Reset Tecno Phones

Switch your phone off > press and hold the volume up and the power button simultaneously until it boots to recovery mode (recovery menu)
select wipe data using the volume up and down buttons > select yes by pressing the menu button > press “reboot now” to get your android device back to it’s factory default.
OR
switching ON your phone > Click MENU > settings > Select Backup & Reset > then select Factory Data Reset.

You can do so by following these steps. It may not be same in your device but certainly you can do the needful following the directives. Hold down the Power key and select Power off. If the touchscreen is unresponsive, then you can simply keep holding down the Power key for several seconds until the device turns off.
Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key. You should see the Android mascot on his back, a bunch of information about your device, and Start at the top of the screen.
To navigate through the menu options, you use the Volume up and Volume down keys. The Power key is used to make a selection. Press Volume down twice, and you should see Recovery mode in red up at the top right. Press the Power key to select it.
The white Google logo will pop up followed by the Android mascot on his back again with the words No command underneath.
Press and hold the Power key and the Volume up key for around three seconds, and then let go of the Volume up key, but keep pressing Power.
You should see the Android system recovery options pop up at the top of the screen. Use the Volume keys to highlight the options and the Power key to select the one you want.

Sorry to hear that. I will suggest you use your knowledge of the phones screen layout to locate the switch off option after youvs held down the power button to force a shutdown. If this does not work. Allowing the battery to drain is your best option. That said, I recommend that you take the device to a Carl care center nearest to you.
